Paulson Electric Makes Challenge Grant for 2008 United Way Campaign
Cedar Rapids, Iowa-Paulson Electric Company, in conjunction with the United Way of East Central Iowa, announced its issuance of a $100,000 challenge grant for the United Way’s 2008 annual campaign. Paulson will match any new or increase in contribution to this year’s United Way campaign. The dollar-for-dollar match will double any new or increased contribution up to $100,000.
“The team at Paulson Electric is proud and excited to make this challenge grant to the community,” said President Ron Olson. “The community is facing many challenges from this year’s historic floods and this is a part of our team’s contribution to help folks get back on their feet.”
2008 marks Paulson Electric’s 80th anniversary. Started by Conrad Paulson, Paulson Electric has been active in many community causes throughout its long history. Paulson Electric is invested in the communities it serves and proud to be a part of many major projects. Paulson Electric has also donated back time spent helping community institutions recovering from the historic floods.
